About Us

Chasing Mags was not born as a cold business project, but rather as the natural evolution of a personal obsession with paper, visual culture, and cult editorial design.

We are absolute devotees of imported magazines. We are passionate about the exquisite layouts, the feel of the paper weights, the art direction, and the unique way in which publications (especially Japanese ones) capture architecture, lifestyle, and global trends. We started collecting and consuming them out of pure genuine interest, fascinated by what was happening on the other side of the map.

Our Purpose: Bringing Cult Paper Closer

However, as collectors in Europe, we soon faced the same reality as always: obtaining these international titles became an odyssey. Confusing purchasing processes, unpredictable customs, high shipping costs, and, worst of all, the uncertainty of whether the magazine would arrive battered or creased after weeks of travel.

We realised that there was no option on the continent that offered total security, care, and simplicity in the process. Thus, Chasing Mags was born: with the firm idea of facilitating access to this editorial universe, ensuring a smooth, secure, and transparent purchase from the very first click.

The Chasing Mags Commitment

  • Genuine Curation: We only bring what blows our minds. Each title in our catalogue has been selected and imported directly because it adds real aesthetic and content value.
  • Collector’s Care: We know the pain of a bent corner. That’s why we protect each copy with rigid supports to ensure it arrives exactly as if you had just picked it off the shelf of a bookstore in Tokyo.
  • Absolute Transparency: No surprises. Global and secure payment processes, real stock, and direct support through our channel: [email protected].

We do this because we believe there are stories and designs that deserve to be experienced on paper. Thank you for being part of this quest.

Chasingmags imports Japanese magazines directly from Japan. Brutus, Casa Brutus, Popeye, Go Out, Men's Fudge — original issues of cult publishers you won't find in any Spanish bookshop. Shipped from Spain.
